Sand Country

Sand Country is a short experimental piece designed to blur the lines between theatre and film.  Rick DeLeon (Success) performs this thoughtful monologue about innocence and guilt, pacifism and implication, good and evil. The film was shot on 1080 HD utilizing the crew and camera used by Jacob Strunk on Valhalla.  Sand Country in many ways serves as a companion piece to Valhalla, exploring similar themes from a very different angle. The film was written and directed by Jacob Strunk, with regulars Glynn Beard, Dale Angell, and Johnny Bishop serving as Camera Operator, Sound Guru, and Director of Photography, respectively.
